Banner configurations and initial testing of check prints was conducted during an engagement between Solano IT, Finance, eVisions and Ellucian on 12/8. The team was able to set-up Solano Account Technician, Rebecca, to test the output of FormFusion templates. During a test outside of the engagement, Rebecca encountered an error that was emailed to Jacob, Evisions Engineer, who recommended upgrading MAPS applications as this issues was resolved in the latest release. IT to review and assess the recommendation.

Next steps also include, determining which printers to configure in SaaS and configuring Evisions for transcripts.

Benefit/Purpose
Briefly describe what you hope to achieve by executing the project, including anticipated benefits.
The purpose of the Evisions project is to preserve continuity for Solano’s existing Banner‑related processes as the college moves to SaaS, ensuring that IntelleCheck, FormFusion, and Argos continue to function as users expect. By migrating IntelleCheck and FormFusion to a SaaS‑aligned architecture and re‑pointing Argos to Banner SaaS via Insights and APIs, the project minimizes disruption for functional users while keeping current outputs, formats, and workflows intact.
Deliverables Requested
List or summarize all specific deliverables resulting from this project. What will the project produce or deliver? These should include items that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time bound.
(1) IntelleCheck and FormFusion are migrated from on‑premises to the Ellucian SaaS‑compatible environment.
(2) Evisions components (IntelleCheck and FormFusion) are fully installed and operating on the designated SaaS server, following vendor best practices and Ellucian SaaS constraints.
(3) EviQ (or the designated Evisions queue/bridge component) is configured and validated as the communication bridge between Banner and FormFusion, including job routing, error handling, and monitoring.
(4) Argos remains on‑premises but is successfully connected to Banner SaaS via approved Insights data connections and/or REST API–based integrations, with key operational reports verified against SaaS data.
(5) All in‑scope checks, forms, and report templates are reviewed, updated if needed for SaaS compatibility, and validated by functional owners to ensure formatting, content, and downstream processes remain correct.
(6) Functional teams (Finance and Student) participate in specification review and structured testing cycles, with any business process changes documented and communicated before go‑live.
(7) Operational documentation is created or updated to reflect the new SaaS architecture (including where each Evisions component runs, how jobs are triggered, and how issues are escalated).
(8) Successful end‑to‑end tests confirm seamless communication with Banner SaaS and no disruption to current business processes.

Strategic Purpose & Objectives

Success Criteria
(1) Argos remains on-prem but connects to Banner SaaS via Insights and REST APIs.
(2) Intellecheck and FormFusion reside on the new SaaS server.
(3) Eviq bridges Banner and FormFusion communication.
(4) Functional teams continue to use Argos, Form Fusion, and Intellicheck.
