Deliverables Requested
List or summarize all specific deliverables resulting from this project. What will the project produce or deliver? These should include items that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time bound.
(1) Recreation of existing ProEd/ProVerifier data exchanges (e.g., document uploads, verification requests, student/requirement data, and verification status updates).
(2) Implementation of secure, SaaS-compatible data transfer methods that meet Ellucian cloud requirements for authentication, encryption, and FERPA compliance.
(3) Configuration of a cloud-ready integration pathway (e.g., API, Ethos, or middleware) that allows ProVerifier+ to receive documents and return verification results without reliance on legacy on-premise tools.
(4) End-to-end workflow validation to ensure students can upload required documents, track verification status, and communicate with the ProVerifier+ team as they do today.

Description

The purpose of this project is to develop and implement a seamless integration between ProEd/ProVerifier+, the third-party service used to manage financial aid document intake and verification with the Ellucian SaaS environment. This integration aims to preserve all existing functionality—including secure document uploads and verification routing—that currently relies on Banner-based processes and ProEd’s document management platform. The project will ensure that students and Financial Aid staff experience no disruption in the verification process during or after the migration to a SaaS architecture.
